Meal plan #29 – Autumn/Fall

You are here: Home / MEAL PLANS / Autumn / Fall / Meal plan #29 – Autumn/Fall

16/05/2018 By //  by Gaby Leave a Comment

Mastering the weekend meals, especially if you have done the family shop on Saturday or Sunday, involves keeping it super simple. The Pantry tuna pasta recipe is quick, and using a frozen meal from previous weeks makes for a simple weekend’s eating. This week we are doubling the meat mix for the BBQ lamb with coucous and the Middle Eastersn meatballs. We are also using some food banked meals from week 27, reducing your cooking load to only 4 meals from scratch this week as always. The chocolate chip oat cookies can survive the week as long as they are not all eaten on day one! Dinner done.

MEAL PLAN #29: AUTUMN/FALL

Monday – Middle Eastern meatballs – double the meat recipe and freeze half. Recipe on the blog.

Tuesday – BBQ lamb with couscous. Double the meat and marinade and freeze half. Recipe on the app.

Wednesday – Spanakopita. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Thursday – Chilli con carne from the freezer from week 27. Recipe on the app. Steam some rice or serve with nachos.

Friday – Leftovers / dining out / takeaway

Saturday – Pea and ham soup from the freezer from week 27. Recipe on the blog.

Sunday – Simple meal: Pantry tuna pasta. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Snacks: Chocolate chip oat cookies – recipe on the app and the blog.

Tip of the week

Salads are best served at room temperature. If making them in advance, take them out of the refrigerator in time to get to room temp.
