This week you can do a fair bit of the cooking on the barbecue again if weather permits.  Building in the leftovers meal is a great way to cut down effort in the kitchen – make it a pot luck night with any extra portions you have. The lemon syrup cake is freezable, so remember to cut it into portions before you pop it in the freezer. Done.

MEAL PLAN #51: Spring

Monday – Chicken and corn ginger balls – double and freeze half. Also great in the kids’ lunch boxes (with an ice pack if weather is hot). Recipe on the app.

Tuesday – Mango chicken. Double and freeze half. Serve with any great salads. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Wednesday – Steak sandwiches. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Thursday – Split pea dahl – from the freezer from week 49. Recipe on the app.

Friday – Leftovers / dining out / takeaway

Saturday – Greek pork skewers – from the freezer from week 49. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Sunday – Super simple meal: Pantry tuna pasta. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Snacks: Lemon syrup cake – recipe on the app and the blog.
