You are here: Home / MEAL PLANS / Meal plan #33 – Winter

13/06/2018 By //  by Gaby Leave a Comment

A braise doesn’t need to take a long time to cook. The Chicken and chorizo braise in this week’s meal plan only takes a few minutes of active cooking and is ready in about 45 minutes total. Tacos make for an easy meal that can also be doubled for freezing – use the scaling feature in the app to double any freezable meal ingredients. Dinner done.

MEAL PLAN #33: Winter

Monday – Chicken & chorizo braise – double and freeze half. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Tuesday – Tacos. Double the meat component and freeze half. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Wednesday – Okonomikaki – Japanese pancake. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Thursday – Grecian beef in the freezer from week 31. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Friday – Leftovers / dining out / takeaway

Saturday – Baked beans from the freezer from week 31. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Sunday – Simple meal: Pasta carbonara. On the app and the blog.

Snacks: Carrot cake – recipe on the app and the blog. Cut into portions and freeze for easy placement in the lunch boxes.

Tip of the week

Salads are best served at room temperature. If making them in advance, take them out of the refrigerator in time to get to room temp.
