A braise doesn’t need to take a long time to cook. The Chicken and chorizo braise in this week’s meal plan only takes a few minutes of active cooking and is ready in about 45 minutes total. Tacos make for an easy meal that can also be doubled for freezing – use the scaling feature in the app to double any freezable meal ingredients. Dinner done.

MEAL PLAN #33: Winter

Monday – Chicken & chorizo braise – double and freeze half. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Tuesday – Tacos. Double the meat component and freeze half. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Wednesday – Okonomikaki – Japanese pancake. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Thursday – Grecian beef in the freezer from week 31. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Friday – Leftovers / dining out / takeaway

Saturday – Baked beans from the freezer from week 31. Recipe on the app and the blog.

Sunday – Simple meal: Pasta carbonara. On the app and the blog.

 

Snacks: Carrot cake – recipe on the app and the blog. Cut into portions and freeze for easy placement in the lunch boxes.
